The aim of the project is to create a prototype hands-free automatic cleaning station for wheelchair wheels.
We offer the WheelyWasher, an automatic wheelchair wheel cleaning station that enables all wheelchair users to clean their wheels in a very short time, without having to get out of their wheelchair, and which can be adapted to all models of wheelchair, whether manual or motorised.
The WheelyWasher meets the specific needs of individuals, hospitals and foundations looking for a fast, reliable solution for cleaning wheelchair wheels. The WheelyWasher consists of rollers that capture and rotate wheelchair wheels in a single point.
Thanks to its rotating cylindrical brush, the WheelyWasher removes all the debris trapped on the wheels. A precise, automatically-positioned high-pressure water jet removes dust, mud and stones stuck in the wheel grooves. Finally, a drying system allows the patient to leave the station without leaving any traces of water. The WheelyWasher adapts to all types of wheels, making this technology a unique and complete washing station for all wheelchair wheels.
