Needs and Ideas
In the framework of the Innovation Booster Technology and Special Needs, people affected by disability are invited to identify their needs and express them. These people can be:
- people with disabilities,
- family members and carers,
- professionals who accompany them,
- etc.
Then, people exchange and imagine ideas for innovations to meet these needs.
These ideas are submitted in the form of projects in the framework of the Booster’s calls for projects. Interdisciplinary teams carry out feasibility studies, exploratory research or prototypes. This leads to real innovations, made with and for people with disabilities.
Topics 2022
This year, the priorities of the Federal Office for Equality for People with Disabilities are the following:
- equality at work
- autonomy
- digital accessibility.
These are the themes that are being highlighted for our Innovation Booster this year. Any other theme can be proposed by those interested.
