The Journal of Bureaucracy Studies talks about art and other things in life in no fewer than four simplified languages: French \u2018facile \u00e0 lire et \u00e0 comprendre\u2019, German \u2018Leichte Sprache\u2019, English \u2018easy-to-read\u2019 and, since 2024, Italian \u2018Lingua facile\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_3″ _builder_version=”4.17.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.17.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

The typography was tailor-made to reflect the latest microtypographic research and to improve accessibility for people with dyslexia and\/or other reading difficulties (Wehrspann, 2024). From issue 1 to issue 2, the contrast of printed colours was increased following informal feedback from visually impaired people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_3″ _builder_version=”4.17.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.17.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

However, there is still a lack of online access to the contents of the Journal of Bureaucracy Studies, for example to guarantee access using screen readers.
